Incorruptible

By Michael Hollinger

Directed by Bruce Kissinger

The show opens May 5th.

Welcome to Piriseaux, France, circa 1250 AD. The river flooded again last week, the chandler’s shop has just burned down. Nobody’s heard of the wheelbarrow yet and St. Foy, the patron of the local monastery, hasn’t worked a miracle in 13 years. In other words, the Dark Ages still look pretty dark. Only a promised visit from the Pope can return the abbey to its former glory. However, a rival church claims to have St. Foy’s relics and there the bones are working miracles, including a visit from the Pope. All seems lost until the destitute monks take a lesson from a larcenous one-eyed minstrel.

“A lightning fast farce, rich in both verbal and physical humor,” American Theatre.

WHO’S WHO

IN THE STAFF

INCORRUPTIBLES

BRUCE KISSINGER (Director) caught the community theater “bug” years ago after appearing as Marley’s Ghost in Annville Community Theater’s production of A Christmas Carol.  After numerous shows with ACT he was elected to its board of directors, and served there several years as technical consultant.  Bruce walked in our door shortly after that, and became part of the LCT family.  He’s had the honor and pleasure of working with some very talented local actors over the years in many shows.  You may have had the opportunity to see Bruce in his last performance as Warren the mailman in our 2005 production of Moon Over The Brewery.  Now Bruce steps off the stage to direct this 8-performance run of Incorruptible.  This is Bruce’s third opportunity to take up the challenge of directing, having teamed up with Tom Roy in 2003 for Last Night of Ballyhoo and again for The Innocents last year.  No bones about it.  Bruce knows you’ll enjoy the show!

SCOTT HARMAN (Asst. Director) is the Chief, Food Production & Service at the Lebanon VA Medical Center.  He works part-time at the Palmyra Dairy Queen and Seaman’s Market in Grantville.  Scott has appeared on stage and behind the scenes for several shows at LCT.  Scott is thrilled to be an assistant director for a main production.  Special thanks to supportive friends and family.  Enjoy the show.
