Our Town

By Thornton Wilder

Directed by Chet Rittle

Welcome to Our Town. It is 1901 in Grover’s Corners, a town not unlike our own. Thornton Wilder has captured the essence of small town America. The audience meets the Webb family, Editor Webb, his wife and two children, Wally and Emily. On the other side of the street lives Dr. Gibbs, his wife and their children Rebecca and George. Their lives are intertwined with the town minister, the milkman, the professor and all others who make Grover’s Corners Our Town.
Our Town
reaches into the past of America and evokes movingly a way of life which is lost in our present turmoil.

 "An original and moving play.”
                 - The New York Sun.

“A hauntingly beautiful play”
                  -The New York Times.
